Katoen Natie launched a new product, ‘Paperless Truck’, to reduce waiting times, eliminate excessive paper, and digitally upgrade their transports.
Katoen Natie is an international logistics and engineering company that provides a wide range of services, including logistics, storage, and transportation solutions for various industries. They specialize in handling and storing goods, as well as offering value-added services like packaging and distribution.
Before the Twintag solution, Katoen Natie operators spent a lot of time and resources preparing legal matters on CMRs for all of their outbound orders. This daily process required hours of manual work, many internal emails, left a lot of room for human error and consumed a lot of paper documents.
Long queues were created at their terminals as drivers had to wait until all documents were printed and manually brought to the trucks.
Empty twintags are generated and uploaded to Plato, Katoen Natie’s ERP system.

Twintags are printed on CMR waybills. Other documents are digitally uploaded to the appropriate twintag.
