How we started

Founded as Wave Research in 1992 by Paul Carpentier and Jan Van Riel, FilePool pioneered Content Addressed Storage (CAS), the precursor to cloud storage. In 2001, FilePool's acquisition by EMC during the dot com crisis marked a rare success.
